What are the Maintenance Methods for the Shutdsown of Natural Gas Fired Boilers?

The natural gas fired boilers occupy a large proportion of boilers for the industrial and civil uses. They have low energy consumption and can reach the environmental protection standards.

The maintenance methods for the shutdown of natural gas fired boilers

1. Desiccant method. Take advantage of the waste heat of the boiler to dry the interior, remove the scale and slag, and finally put in the desiccant to keep the metal surface dry and prevent corrosion.

2. Nitrogen filling method. Fill the nitrogen into the boiler water system and maintain a certain positive pressure to keep the air out. Nitrogen is very inactive and non-corrosive to prevent the boiler from corrosion.

3. Ammonia gas filling method. Drain the water and fill the ammonia gas into the full volume of the boiler. Ammonia gas dissolves in the water film on the metal surface, which can form the corrosion-resistant film on the metal surface.

4. Painting method. Drain the water, remove the dirt and dry the metal surface. Finally, paint the anti-corrosion materials on the metal surface to prevent corrosion.

The maintenance method for the boiler shutdown should be flexibly selected according to the length of the boiler shutdown time in order to improve the maintenance effects.
