Case Introduction

Ningxia Jiali Potato Industrial Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise in the potato production and processing industry in Xiji County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The company has formed the whole industry chain covering the breeding, planting, processing and selling of potatoes. It has three production lines with an annual capacity of 55,000 tons of potato starches and one production production with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons of potato powders. In order to improve the product quality, Jiali decided to introduce a set of high-efficiency coal-fired steam boiler and put forward high requirements for the boiler’s environmental protection performance. After an extensive market research, Jiali finally chose the eco-friendly SZL series coal-fired steam boiler produced by ZOZEN Boiler to meet the huge demands for heat in the production processes of potato starches such as dewatering, concentration and drying.

ZOZEN pre-assembled SZL series coal-fired steam boiler is composed of two parts. The upper part is the heating surface of the boiler proper and the lower part is the combustion equipment. In order to realize the precise air distribution, ZOZEN optimized the combustion equipment by setting multiple separate air chambers and air dampers on the base of chain grate, so the boiler operator can adjust the air volume according to the combustion conditions of different coal types, which can make the boiler keep a good combustion state, so as to improve the fuel utilization rate. In addition, ZOZEN also customized the reasonable dust removal, desulfurization and denitration devices according to Jiali’s requirements, which effectively reduces the emission of air pollutants such as NOx and SO2 to help the enterprise meet the boiler air pollutant release standards required by the local environmental protection agency.
